I was about to say the same thing. The template is the same for all langua=
ges. In languages that do not have words for "yes" or "no"=2C they are sti=
ll forced to put something in there. If I remember correctly=2C Thai has d=
ifferent "yes/no" phrases for different situations=2C but the Eurotalk vers=
ion sticks to two only. Also in Thai=2C there are gender differences based=
on the speaker's sex...so a man and a woman will use slightly different ph=
rases for "Excuse me" and such. Once again=2C Eurotalk only gives one vers=
ion. Thus for Klingon=2C Marc had to come up with some phrases that aren't =
the best parts of the software. It's all found in the "First Words" section=
=2C which also include unfortunate Klingon versions of "please" and "I'm so=
rry" :(...although I have to say=2C I like the Klingon version of "Good bye=
"=2C pretty straightforward. The whole fact that Eurotalk crams every lang=
uage into the same template was bound to cause problems. For example I hav=
e realized as I have been working on the color section why the words for "y=
ellow" and "green" are pronounced differently. It's because there had to b=
e some way to distinguish them=2C so we get "Suj" for green and "SuD" for y=
ellow. It gets pretty irritating=2C I just played the "Hard Game" for colo=
rs and I should have gotten all fifty points. I kept muttering "QI'yaH" ev=
ery time I picked "Doq" and it wanted "Doke" or "Dahhhk". Overall=2C it's =
not such a bad program. It's impossible to force every language into a con=
venient "phrasebook" and not make some mistakes. The "First Words" section=
is definitely the weakest=2C but you can probably skip it and go straight =
for the gems in the "Countries" and "Foods" sections :). =20
