Given that {buqlIjDaq X tu'lu' pagh choleghmo' bIQuch} seems unassailably right,
I'm curious - what is it you (and SuStel) find objectionable about the form that
just adds the {-'a'}s?

SuStel's suggestion of a form along the lines of "buy or die!" is good; I'd add
{-ba'} to add to the innuendo:

buqlIjDaq X'e' tu'be'lu'chugh vaj choleghmo' bIQuchba'.
"If that is not an X in your pocket, you're obviously happy to see me!"
