Hmm, worth thinking about. I don't like that I've used it more than 
once, especially as I doubt it was from the same character.

Ah, I didn't think of it as preceding and thus modifying the 
subordinate clause. Perhaps I knew it as I wrote it and then second 
guessed it as I tried to analyse it.

Since I wrote that line, I've realized that I missed an opportunity 
to say to'waQ yIvtaHvIS.

Oh, interesting. I wasn't sure whether it would be immediately 
obvious or not. I think I may have got it just the way I wanted to. 
If it still isn't clear by the end of the 'ay''a', it will be 
explained in the next one.
