My favourite kind of interrogation subject. A shame I wasn't there; trust me, I can get the truth out of people like that, who smile too much.

To drag in an outside reference, it's Moriarty Syndrome. He has to show the world his cleverness, but in order to do that he needs to show off to one person whom he perceives as having sufficient intellect to figure out his cleverness.

:) If MO did not pick someone as the recipient of a word, or explain it, I guess that means he believed you weren't good enough and need to do better.
