I never considered that {ruch} could take a direct object. The def in Ultralingua is: "1. proceed. 2. go ahead. 3. do it." Without the numbers, that's what it says in the Addendum of TKD. I read that more as, "Get off your butt and be active at what you and I both already know you should be doing."
I'd expect {ta'} and {nID} to be something you'd use to describe {Qumey} in the past or future. You don't accomplish a mission until it's done. To attempt/try a mission doesn't sound very committed. I prefer to serve my missions. I'm certainly not the first to use that verb on that direct object.
