Not sure if the HolQeD article was actually written before that statement by DloraH.

My first week -> HoghwIj wa'DIch
(only type-5 noun suffixes can follow adjectivally used verbs)

However, that sentence doesn't really work (-taH can't be used in this way), so I'd probably go with
wa' Hogh ret tlhIngan Hol vIghItlhchoH. {One week ago I start writing Klingon.}

Also, thanks for shedding a lot of light on lu- and lugh, Voragh.  I've actually been wondering a whole lot about [lu]tu'lu'.
