Well, for that matter, the 18th century screws were essentially twisted nails with very course, slow spirals, and a "screw driver" was what we now call a hammer (because all hammers were originally called "drivers"), while what we now call a screw driver was originally known as a "screw turner".
I like your new versions and am very impressed by the entire undertaking. Regardless of your mastery of weapons, your mastery of words is beyond contest.
