Otherwise, you are making a rather derogatory statement about na'ran.
"Earthers enjoy that they eat na'ran, which is resembled by food." It
isn't food, but food does resemble it.
Since "food" is a more general word and {na'ran} is one kind of food,
you have enough context here to assume that the relative clause is
grouping together foods that resemble {na'ran} as the direct object of
"eat", rather than using the relative clause as a parenthetical remark
about {na'ran}, which happens to be a thing that food resembles.
I guess you could reach WAY OUT THERE and imagine that there is a
variety to types of {na'ran}, some of which food resembles, and some
of which food does not resemble, and you are only talking about eating
the {na'ran} which food resembles. That's a bit of a stretch, though,
especially since it would be far more natural in this case to talk
about {na'ran} resembling food, instead of the other way around.
But if Earthers also enjoy eating {na'ran}, shouldn't we say
{SoptaHvIS tera'nganpu' rurchuqbogh Soj na'ran je tIv.}
Yeah, I know. It's weird. Still, it's a valid expression of an idea.
While Earthers eat, they enjoy {na'ran}s and food which resemble each
other.
Now, it's clear that they enjoy eating food that resembles {na'ranmey}
and {na'ranmey} that resembles food.
