Anything new this year? What sort of events/activities...an Earthling showing perhapse? Will there be proficiency tests and certifications?

The fifteenth qep'a' has been scheduled to begin in the afternoon of
Wednesday July 23, 2008, and run until Sunday July 27th. Wednesday is
unofficial and informal (there is no formal opening-night banquet, as
we have had in the past).
The location is as it was last year:
Comfort Inn Philadelphia Airport

Room charges are also the same as last year's rate: $85/night (plus
applicable taxes), which includes "continental breakfast." The qep'a'
itself is expected to run approximately $30 per person (please pay at
the event, due to problems with the KLI Merchant Page. Bring cash if
possible).
When calling to make your reservation, make sure to specify that you
are with the KLI conference.
Deadline for our room block is June 30th, though it would be
tremendously helpful if you make your reservations much earlier.
