Never used in canon:

Related verbs:

{pe'} cut;  {SIj} slit;  {poDmoH} clip;  {DuQ} stab

Related nouns:

{jIb} hair (on head);  {loch} mustache;  {rol} beard

Can {chIp} be used to trim things other than hair - e.g. prune plants, 
remove the insulation from wires, etc. - or is that closer to {poDmoH} and 
{pe'}?  Cf. {pe'meH taj} "cutting knife" (KGT).
