It would be more reasonable to regard the middle syllable of
"jabbI'ID" as lacking a final consonant. Some words end in a
vowel, such as tI 'vegetation' and je 'and [for nouns]'; but no
Klingon word can begin in a vowel. So syllabify it as
jab - bI - 'ID
