Yeah, I think both dcctdw and I told the list about the class we were teaching
(what better way to learn something but to teach it?) and we're now feeling
the pressure of the fact that it's starting soon.
As Dave said, only MIT community can take the course since it's being
funded by MIT. As for course materials, if you want them, email me
and I'll send you lesson summaries or something. They're still in flux,
though. There are 18 of them, in latex format, each ranging from 500 to
2000 bytes in size. There are also bunches of exercises to go with the
first 5, (each about 1000-1800 bytes), and three dialogs about 1k each or so.
For a total of: 28389 bytes
In learning the language for myself, I've found it's easier to have it
organized in "elementary -> difficult" order, rather than in the form of
the grammar/dictionary format of Okrand's book (First, everything you
wanted to know about nouns, then everything you wanted to know about
verbs, etc.)
