Hello all--
No, the subject line is not a typo. I am interested, linguistically,
in ASL, as I said in my bio. Would you understand
ghopHol
as meaning 'sign language'? Perhaps a lesson could be learned from
the example (so I'm told) in Spanish, which translates as "the
language with the hands for Deaf people" (el languaje con los manos
por los sordomutos), as in:
Qoybe'wI'pu'vaD ghopHol
but this seems a little excessive. I imagine Klingons kill deaf
babies. (or any handicapp...no need to single out one!).
