Vinyar Tengwar #4 p4 published a translation by Ronald E. Kyrmse of the
Ring-inscription plus "in the land of Mordor where the shadows lie" into
Klingon. Now that a new version of the "Klingon Dictionary" with more
information in has been published, I venture to complete the translation:-

Kyrmse's matter is in {} (but I have replaced his 'wegh' = "confine" by the
more accurate 'bagh' = "tie" which the 2nd edition adds to the vocabulary).
(1) Is there an email group re the Klingon language? If so, what is its
email address?
(2) I will accept correction! This is my first venture into Klingon. E.g. I
could not find a clear explanation of how to translate English passive
participles (e.g. 'condemned' (for 'doomed (to die)')). I have resorted to
Tolkien's Quenya ('elda', 'nauko') for words for "elf" and "dwarf".

Long ago before microcomputers, our ICL1900 mainframe computer's Fortran
compiler had a maths subroutine library called Hartran. 'Fortran' < 'formula
translation', and enquiry found that 'Hartran' < a convincing non-Tolkien
etymology (< 'Hartford', perhaps); but I had shortly before read LOTR and I
noticed the apparent Sindarin wordplay like in 'Forlond'/'Harlond' etc.
