One thing I was wondering about, apart from the comments marqem made, was
the "yItmeH DaSmeyvam chenmoHlu'" (btw, I don't see that you used DaSpu'
anywhere, Krankor, and I agree that you shouldn't). I think it makes sense
sort of as it stands, but it sounds to me like "Someone made these boots so
that they'd walk", which is about right. But another interpretation of the
English would imply that "These boots were made so that someone would
walk", yielding a Klingon rendering of "yItlu'meH DaSmeyvam chenmoHlu'ta'"
(I think the "-ta'" really makes sense there as well.) Of course, that
doesn't scan worth beans, and both additions are easily slippable.
However, do note that I do *not* consider it wrong to use "-lu'" on an
intransitive verb, as here. Despite the fact that it is usually used to
make a passive, it's really an indefinite subject, and it's okay to treat
it that way.
Hmmm, maybe "leS" would be better than "wa' jaj"? Again, doesn't scan.
Also sounds like she's planning it in detail.
