It's always good to see another "face" around here, Amy. I would
say "I welcome you, too" in Klingon, but I can't find a word for
"welcome". I guess the Klingon equivalent of "welcome" is not
killing the visitor!
A suggestion about postings and bandwidth: In your recent
posting under this heading, most of the text consisted of a large
slab quoted from the message you were replying to. While quoting
text for this purpose is useful in maintaining the thread of a
discussion on a list, it's usually enough to just cite the couple
of lines that summarize or indicate just what you're commenting
on, with the presumption that most list members have been
following the discussion and can, if necessary, reference the
original message (especially if you cite the author). Certainly
this principle isn't always followed! But IMHO, if applied and
not to excess, it makes for easier reading and better Internet
citizenship.
