Yeah. Wonderful thing about the word "phatic", btw; it sounds fancy, but it
has a very concrete and useful meaning. Like I say, we're Terrans using
Klingon; noone's stopping us from coining our own salutations. I will admit,
though; while I was translating _Mark_, the phrase "go in peace" came up,
and it made me feel decidedly nervous. God wot qatlh; it's not as if a
Klingon patrol is about to crash through my door. I mean, I'm in Australia! ;)
As a colleague perceptively commented when I pointed this out to him, the
sensible thing to do would be to translate the phrase as yIchep or yIQuch
(or, Gads, even that thing about enemies' bile!)
