     Count me among those that are swayed by Glen Proechel's argument against
the use of verb-ghach without other suffixes. When I look at the wording in
TKD with that perspective pointed out to me, that is exactly what it reads
like.

     Also count me among those who object to Proechel's argument in favor of
the free use of verbs as nouns and nouns as verbs. The wording in TKD is
quite clear that we cannot assume anything about WHICH verbs can be used as
nouns or WHICH nouns can be used as verbs until Okrand certifies it. To
randomly use one as the other makes it easier on the speaker and harder on
the listener. Not much gained there, especially if the listener is large or
armed.
