D. Barron recently posted features he'd want in a "perfect"
Klingon-English Translator. I wanted to describe our work towards
this end, and hopefully build up interest in our work, for its
eventual release.

ghunghachwIj Dachup 'e' muquvmoH
DaH qoch vISuqpu' (toH, jIH muSuqpu') 'ej

ghuSDI', naDev wIja'bej
qechmey boghajchugh, DaH cheja'

Many of the features D. Barron described are already present. All the
features will be part of the new version, which is designed around a
Windows-style interface, for DOS. (If you're using Windows, it'll run
in a DOS box, and if you're using 3.1, you can use the mouse w/ the
program in a DOS box). A less-featured version is being prepared for
Unix environments. As of yet, none of our programmers uses a
Macintosh, so that platform is not yet supported, unless your Mac has
a DOS emulator, which, I understand, tends to be rather slow.

I'm very excited about the future of this project, and eagerly
anticipate the time we can release our work to an (un)suspecting
tlhIngan public!

d'Armond (Holtej)
