Well, while we're making our translator wish list:

I'd hope that such a program would be available on a number of platforms,
Macintosh, PC, UNIX.

And of course, it would be particularly good if it allowed itself to be
modified in a simple manner, so that as new lexical items come to light, the
whole thing doesn't need to be scrapped.
