In the NPR interview, Okrand made it quite clear that he invented
"nuqneH" under duress. It's a question, really, of what we want to make
of Klingon. My personal preference is to treat Klingon on its own
terms. That would mean (1) don't greet, just say what you have to say;
(2) don't say goodbye, just leave when you're done. I admit this makes
it a slightly less attractive plaything for trekkies at cons.
