As some of you have already noticed, we are currently experiencing a
tlhIngan-Hol list outage. The cause of the outage is the sudden loss
of UUCP access for my home machine, village.boston.ma.us. I used to
have access through a company I used to work for, Interactive Systems,
but the machine connecting me to the outside world has ceased to exist.
(Indeed, there's little left of Interactive Systems, either.)
I'm in the process of trying to find a work-around for this problem. Currently
under consideration are:
(1) Finding a new home for the list.
(2) Finding a new (free) UUCP connection for me
(3) Obtaining a new (paid) UUCP connection for me and
asking for contributions.
Obviously, I'd prefer to fix this as quickly as possible and as cheaply
as possible. More information as I learn it.
