For the first: I think the construction I used more strongly indicates the
sense of "not anymore": it is - undo - change - past, or "it has become not"
or "it has un-become." The English doesn't translate very well literally,
but the Klingon expresses the intent quite well. "Now it's not just for battle"
is similar (and more straightforward) but doesn't stress as much that it was,
but no longer is.
For the second: It's not a new generation, it's the Next Generation! It's
a pun on the Pepsi slogan... "Group of children that follow" was the closest
I could come.
