Actually, Clipped Klingon was invented to explain the entire spoken =
Klingon and subtitles in ST1, which were done before Okrand was hired to =
invent the Vulcan ceremony in ST2. He invented the Klingon language for =
ST3, making sure that ST1 would still count as accurate spoken Klingon.
