To avoid confusion, it is perhaps best to specify that it is CVw' + CVC; CV=
C' does not appear to be "permitted" in general.

Permitted syllables appear to be:

CV

    - i.e. bo, Da, ghu
CVC (with the exception of Cow and Cuw)

    - i.e. boS, batlh, ghum (but not Qow or chuw)

CVw' (presumably with the exception of Cow' and Cuw')

    - i.e. waw', naw', Daw'
    - interestingly, Cew' and CIw' have never been used, although there is =
no "rule" barring their existence

CVy'

    - i.e. 'ay', bey', qoy'

CVrgh

    - i.e. Dargh, morgh, lurgh

C =3D consonant

V =3D vowel

Exceptions might appear in transcriptions ofalien names (such as pIqarD and=
 jemS tIy qIrq) and in no' Hol (such as paq'batlh).

CVC' + CVC

naw' + wat

This syllable structure isn't uncommon. By the way, did you notice the pun?=
