The definitions of other {tlhu-} verbs would seem to suggest that
{tlhuch} has to do with intake/outtake.

{tlhuD} v. emit
{tlhuH} v. breathe
{tlhup} v. whisper
{tlhutlh} v. drink

Of course, there's no reason why {tlhuch} needs to be related to these
other verbs.

(The only other {tlhu-} verb is {tlhu'} "be tempted", is not related.)
