Please note that the process of selecting a new BG is underway and is not a=
waiting the outcome of this discussion. However, the new BG, regardless of=
who he or she may be, will likely be very interested in the details of thi=
s discussion, so please carry on.
Each of the fora are very different. FB Learn Klingon works well without a=
BG because of the threaded nature. FB also has the benefit that the begin=
ners conversations and the advanced conversations have mostly been separate=
d into different groups. Google+ just doesn't seem to have the traffic to =
need daily watching.
My own suggestion is that the new BG be identified as the KLI BG, not the m=
ailing list BG. However, their only required duties would be here on the m=
ailing list, in the same form that they have always been. However, they ar=
e also invited, but not required, to participate in the other fora as the B=
G. They may identify themselves as such and should be respected in the sam=
e way that they would be here, with the exception that there are no KLBC th=
reads for them to get first crack at - others are allowed to answer first o=
n those other fora.
For what it's worth,
Jeremy
