I hope I am not starting out on the wrong foot like some varool
(forgive my Rihansu) by asking what may be a very simple grammar question, but
having scoured Okrand's reference grammar, I still find no way to make simple
"X because Y" sentences.
For instance, I was going to say as my first forum message: "I am new
to this forum. I am afraid to write Klingon BECAUSE I cannot speak it." My
version of this was going to be:
"ForumvamDaq jIchu'. tlhIngan-Hol vIghItlhvIp vIjatlhlaHbe'"
but it is obviously missing what I guess would be a suffix on the last verb
string. Any suggestions?
Also, I wonder if you guys have been systematically adding to the
vocabulary, developing more grammar, etc. I would be very interested in these
sorts of developments. Thank you.
