The order of words in a Klingon sentence is very important. Most of the =
time the function of a word is made clear by its position in the =
sentence. The flip side of this is that a mis-positioned word may render =
the sentence unintelligible.=20

You=E2=80=99re right that nuH pegh might mean =E2=80=9Cthe secret of the =
weapon=E2=80=9D  =E2=80=9Cthe weapon=E2=80=99s secret=E2=80=9D or =
=E2=80=9Cthe secret weapon.=E2=80=9D I guess when you=E2=80=99re =
thinking in Klingon, there isn=E2=80=99t as big a difference between a =
weapon that has a secret and a weapon that is secret as there might be =
in English. I imagine it=E2=80=99s akin to the way people who grew up =
with Imperial measurements don=E2=80=99t feel that mass and weight are =
substantially different, or the way people who speak English use the =
same term love to profess extreme fondness of relatives, food, romantic =
partners and sports teams. If it=E2=80=99s really important to make it =
clear, you can explain.

i just read in hol.kag.org that "Those notions expressed as adjectives =
in English (such as big, tired) are expressed by verbs in Klingon (be =
big, be tired)"

but what am i to do,when the klingon verb is a noun too ?

suppose i want to write "secret weapon". if i say "nuH pegh" can't this =
be mistaken for "secret of the weapon" or "weapon's secret" ?
