There is a motif checkbook app called xacc that's way nicer than cbb or
xfinans, the other two that have been available for a while. xacc has
now been superceded by the GNOME project's gnucash project. My own
personal wife does all the checkbook stuff in our family, and she digs
gnucash lots. xacc is still also available if you don't like gtk (?).
