You must understand that Cheapbytes is not the full version of
RedHat 5.2. It does not have the source CD, nor the applications
CD. Lastly, it does not include any of the non-free stuff. I
do not about 5.2, but in the past there have been offerings from
MetroX, BRU, etc. None of these were included in the Cheapbytes.

Also, Cheapbytes does not come with the printed manual. You got
to have this, if nothing else for something to do while sitting
in the Throne.

Lastly, Cheapbytes has to wait for the official release and FTP
and/or CD availability from Red Hat. THEN they put their CD
files together and BURN the CD. This is a process that could
well take a month.

It is a wonder they sell it for $2 a pop. Actually, it makes for
a dandy CD to have kicking around. But.

If you get the CD from RedHat, be aware they have several "burns"
in the life of a release. In RH 5.1 there were 3 releases on CD.
The original, and two more that incorporated more and more of the
updates and errata. If you were to follow the errata page on RH
Site, you would see that the changes were in the CD already. At
least that was the case with mine (at the time I looked, of course
more came out later).

I do not know the Cheapbytes policy on upgrading their CD's from
time to time.

And there is the satisfaction of knowing that your one CD purchase
from RedHat or a dealer goes to pay the boys in North Carolina for
the fantastic work of love they do in putting together the *BEST*
Linux distribution ever.

One thing I learned is that there is intelligent life in North
Carolina. Red Hat has proven it.
