I upgraded my motherboard which has build-in video, namely an SiS
5597/5598 chipset. RedHat doesn't support this chipset. However, SuSE
does and I downloaded the .rpm from their web site
http://www.suse.de/XSuSE. This is all find and dandy, except I don't
speak a word of German and all of the help is in German. I was able to
figure out I had to point my /etc/X file to their xsuse (or whatever it's
called) file. Do I have to run through Xconfigurator? Can anyone
translate the help for me? I know, I know, ignorant mono-lingual
Americans. But hey, I studied French and Esperanto. :-)
