There's a file I found (sorry I don't recall where it came from -
Sunsite I think) that will split files into several parts in sizes you
specify. It works well with Linux and even comes with a 'Doze exe file
so it can be used across OSs. It's called
filesplt<something-or-other>.tar.gz.
I've used the 'Doze version of it before to move between computers
prior to getting Linux installed. It worked like a charm.
I can mail it to you (or anyone else) if you'd like. Due to the
possibility of more than one request, I'll only be able to mail it out
once per day so it might be around 24 hours before anyone receives it.
