Hello all,
I upgraded (finally) to RHL5.1 a couple weeks ago from 5.0. I was taken
back to a day long ago..... when I upgraded from 4.2 to 5.0 (bad move in
retrospect). One of the things that was broken in 5.0 was the ringback
feature of uugetty -- downgrading to the 4.2 binary, as suggested by
someone on this list, worked well. Sooo.. after having upgraded to 5.1,
it seems to be broken yet again. uugetty always picks up on the first
ring again. Will Red Hat ever fix this one? :-)
Until then, does anyone know of a 4.2 mirror that's left out there?
I'll need to grab the old RPM... I'd ask for someone to email me the
binary, but I'm no longer that naive :-)
Thanks.
-Fred
