I upgraded ghostscript, ghostscript-fonts, and lpr per
the Colgate errata, but I still can't print using lpr or
ghostscript.
System:
Linux/Intel 4.0
Cannon Bubble Jet 200ex
Printer Configuration:
lp bj200 on /dev/lp1
I can dump ASCII text with 'cat file > /dev/lp1' as root
so the printer connection is there, and the printer works
fine from Windows95. But anything that
I send to lpr just prints stray characters along the left
side of the page. Using 'lp' from inside ghostscript
gives the same behavior.
Is ghostscript 3.33 broken? Do I need a different filter
for a bj200ex than for a bj200?
