I decided to get with the 90's and upgraded my motherboard. This
motherboard has built-in video that is superior to the video card I had in
my old system. It works great under Win95. However, I'm having
difficulty getting it to work under Linux.

I big part of the problem is I haven't the slightest idea what type of
card it is. Win95 sees it as an SiS 5597/5598. Under Xconfigurator
there's only one SiS board and it isn't even close to 5597/5598. If I
choose something more generic and try to run startx, I get an error about
unknown chipset.

Ideas? :-)

John
