Yes it's a complete Unix with some extensions in very high speed networking,
micro-kernal architecture, micro-kernal GUI, and more. Check out
www.qnx.com. It's really worth a look.

I also recall hearing about QNX ... I was looking for a real-time
operating system to facilitate data collection and process control
for some physical experiments that I was doing ...
Does QNX offer a *complete* implementation of UNIX - as Linux is?
