Hi

I have been away on travel for work this last week and have been unable to
keep up with this list. Please forgive me if these questions have been
covered.

I just received my RH 5.2 full version and need some advice before I jump
into the upgrade.

My current version is RH 5.1 which is working very well, including my PPP
connection which did cause me some grief during the initial setup. Editing
the resolv.conf in /etc allowed me to fix whatever was wrong.

My questions are:

Do I need to reformat my hard drive before I install 5.2 to avoid any
conflicts?

If not, will my /home directory be overwritten? I have some files I need to
keep in there if possible.

Will I need to reconfigure PPP (edit resolv.conf) or does 5.2 automatically
import the previous settings?

Are there any other suggestions or advice?

Many thanks in advance for the help and advice!

Jim Snyder
