I have an idea but only because I ran into some problems as well.  I found
that
/etc/named.boot is now known as /etc/named.conf and that there's a utility
under the bind docs directory that will take your named.boot and convert it
to named.conf for ya.  Once I found that, everything worked fine for me and
you're probably running into the same thing.
