5.2 DNS Question

Hi:
I upgraded to 5.2 and it updated BIND to BIND 8. I have the named configured
properly since nslookup runs fine. However, I can't seem to get name
resolution
for my local LAN machines. For example, "ping <machine>" says that the host
is unknown, but nslookup does resolve the name correctly. What am I missing
here?
