I had to create an account at YAHOO mail - jeeez what an abusers - and
accept cookies of all sorts. Then I figured out - as I remember somebody
talk about it - to make a link to /dev/null. It looked simple...and I
should've been warned. The only cookie thing I could find was in
$HOME/.netscap/cookies (is that it?) so I did a "ln -si
$HOME/.netscape/cookie /dev/null. I was asked if I want to replace
/dev/null and I hit "Enter" faster than my brain could say "whoaaa!". This
operation hasn't really given me the expected efect but a feeling I fu***d
something up. Obviously /dev/null doesn't work anymore, and to make the
horror complete, I can't even find it anymore. It's not in /dev anymore.
QUESTION: Weeeell...eer...How do I recreate /dev/null without having to do
an upgrade install and how do I make the dam* link properly?
Thanks veeeeeeeeeeery mush,
Zoki.
