I'm running RH 5.1 with some of the 5.2 upgrades/updates, and I'll be
upgrading completely to 5.2 over the weekend.

Where in all of the printer definition files could I put in a hex command
(escape sequence in PCL) to send commands to my printer at the beginning and
end of EVERY print job, using the standard lpd/lpr combination?

I'm planning on setting up three or more "virtual" printers for each of my
physical printers that have multiple paper trays, so that depending on which
of the virual printers a user printed to, the printer would pull the paper
from a specified tray.
