  This is not a sendmail problem this is a IMAPD problem.  Sendmail only
recieve the email.  If you are using IMAPD.

  At the top of the message the is a message that said do not delete this.
Make a backup and delete it.  I will be able to download your messages.
 What the program is saying that you have already looked at the messages.
