On a newly installed Red Hat 5.2 system, with the vim-color package
installed (may not actually be called that, unsure), when I run cvim
(color enhanced vim) I get the colors properly, but anytime I quit after
making any changes, it forces me to use override the quit command with an
error that it can't create the backup file ?? I don't care about a backup
file, so I added "set nobackup" in ~/.vimrc -- usually works, but with
cvim it has no effect... the same with actually typing ":set nobackup"
while in cvim, so it doesn't appear to be a problem using the .vimrc
file... any clues how to solve this one?

Her: "No," [blush] "I'm a cosmetologist."
Him: "Really? That's incredible... It must be very tough to handle
weightlessness."
