Wow, are you far from home! First, if at all possible, install 4.0D, 4.0B
is full of grief. Secondly, although I personally am very fond of Apache,
is there some reason why you are not using Netscape Fasttrack? It is free
on the associated products CD that comes with DUnix. Lastly, try reposting
this on the axp-list, Digital guru's hang out there including some that
probably know every line of Digital UNIX by heart. Be sure to have handy:
	DU Version (4.0b)
	Latest patch kit applied.
CPU model, memsize and firmware rev.
Disk controller type (HSZxx, SWXCR etc. and the firmware rev on
	the controller)
Amount of swap and how it is allocated.
	Network configuration.
Have an idea of what else is going on in the machine when you
	experience the problem.

Seems like a lot of stuff, but we had a problem with Oracle going to sleep
that turned out to be a disk layout problem. Took over a year for Digital
to figure out exactly where it was. No fault of theirs, we should have
been more agressive with digging up information.

Good luck,
