ServerName for SMB?

I could use a little help, My Redhat 5.0 fails to boot.
Ive been running it for about a month. Last night I used Net Configurator to
change the host name of the system. When I restarted the system later it
stopped booting at
SMBD and said it couldnt find the server name and that I shuld use ServerName
to set it.
At this point the system won't take any input from me. If I go into single
user mode I cant find a command ServerName. Im guessing I trashed one of my
config files, but I have no idea where to look. Any help would be eternally
appreciated.
