Try this:
On your Win95 machines, go to the Network applet, open the Properties of
the File and Print sharing service and set LM Announce to 'Yes'. I have
found that peer-to-peer Win95 networks do not work reliably (frequently
losing sight of shares) without this setting and it may help you here.
