Morning Folks...

Well, while ftp-ing a Copy of redhat 5.2, I used a mirror with old plain
wu.ftpd as server. After haveing downloaded everything, I tried to check
against the RedHat Server, and noticed that the ftp-server yould not make
a "append" operation. Very very bad. it always told me, illegal seek, cant
append, and downloaded the file from scratch.

Also, while making a: "get *" in the updates directory, it downloaded me
all 3 files normally first, then continued in a loop for re-downloading
the same files. Just for the matter, I let him do to check how many times
he would loop... Well, I had to kill it myself...

FYI: Using RedHat-4.2 strongly modified by myself (Running flawlessly on
over 150 Systems so long, so the error isn´t on my side, as the Download
worked with Redhat 5.0 and 5.1 before :))

Regards
