Actually, you had the choice at install time. There is an
installation window that asks for packages to install. If
you choose INN, (News), or "install everything", then you
get it. I have to admit, though, that I think the INN box
is checked by default and you have to uncheck it. Which means
that you have to know what it *is* first!
Yes, I think redhat is missing something here. They need to
separate the installation into two broad groups, perhaps
THREE groups:
(1) A stand-alone, non-LAN home or office computer.
(2) A LAN computer. A client, not a server.
(3) A Server (internet or LAN).
In the case of INN, only #3 would have it enabled by default.
