Plain iso9660 only supported 8.3.

Add Rockridge Extensions and it supports all Unix stuff
including long filenames.
Add Joliet Extensions and it supports what MS added.
Add both and it seems to do all the above.

When you make your iso image, you specify which
extensions you want to add.  I made a RH install
CD with Rockridge and Joliet extensions, and it
still works.
